My dog doesn't appear in the database, how can I add it ? |
You just have to scan or take a picture of the pedigree of your dog and send it to us by mail by clicking on
contact us . Caution, it is useless to make a partial copy and to send it to us by mail. It will not be considered since we need all information’s regarding the pedigree (with the exception of your address that would not appear in the data base.) The portion previously registered in the data base help us to verify the accuracy of your data. If you cannot scan or take a picture of your pedigree, just send us an email and we will provide you a mailing address where you can send a regular paper copy. |
I'm breeder and I would like register my litters into database, what do I have to do ? |
You can scan your birth's declarations, or complete the table in Word format available here : download the table (choose "save" and then send it to us by email once completed) For dogs recently born scanning the declaration of birth is certainly the easiest for you, but for adult dogs it's probably preferable to choose the table because it will allow you to give us more information about them. |
Can we attach a photo of our dog ? |
It's quite possible, just send us a photo by email or mail (preferably standing up or head picture),
it will appear on the pedigree, breeding information and virtual pedigrees. We ask that your dog be aged at least two years old on the photos in order to show an adult mature dog . |

For more details you should go to the info sheet of the dog in question, where you can see exactly the desease in question. Also note that the icon IS indicate only cancer and epilepsy, but "Detailed Info Sheets" may also contain other health's information, such as monorchidie, an accident, the cause of death, etc. .. For the sake of transparency and reliable information, on the one hand the source will be always indicated, and on the other hand these informations can't be recorded on the initiative of anyone, and only four types of sources will be accepted : - Primarily breeders and owners of dogs involved, - Second the International Epilepsy Register, since only the breeders or owners have the right to register a dog in and that the register is very reliable, - And finally the information disseminated by breed's clubs and canine official bodies throughout the world, through their websites and publications. Furthermore, the purpose of this function is to provide information to people doing research on a specific line or a dog, and never use for a witch hunt looking who had worries, so IS icon doesn't appear in the Breeder's page or in search results, and it is not possible to search a dog by disease. |
